Dat het schip van Nederlandse makelij is heeft inderdaad geen connectie met de NH90 maar wel heeft de werf contacten met onze marine waar we werken met de NH90 NFH.
En wat Thomasen zegt er is grond voor samenwerking door de contacten die we hebben en omdat we in dezelfde regio opereren zie ik mogelijkheden.

Zo kunnen de Mexicanen misschien opgeleid worden in Den Helder op de Kooy, en als Nederland besluit om een OPV in de West te stationeren voor 2 jaar dan moet er ook langdurig een NH90 mee.
Misschien kunnen we daar samen ook trainen of zelfs een support hub bouwen voor NH90's met onderdelen en plek waar (groot) onderhoud uitgevoerd kan worden. Goed voor de samenwerking en onze industrie daarnaast kan het ook andere zuid-Amerikaanse landen aansporen om de NH90 te kiezen boven andere heli's.

En nee je gaat geen support hub bouwen voor 3 heli's maar Nederland zal toch zijn eigen faciliteiten moeten aanleggen in de West als dit plan door gaat dan kan je beter kijken naar mogelijkheden in de regio met partners dan alles alleen moeten doen.

De Mexicaanse marine heeft interesse in 2 NH-90 NFH's tussen 2018 - 2022, de NH-90's worden geplaatst op de Reformador klasse (Sigma) naast de Panther helikopters die ze al in dienst hebben.

Misschien ligt hier een mooie samenwerking voor de KM en de Mexicaanse marine in het verschiet. Wij hebben ook NH-90's in de West en het SIGMA fregat komt van een Nederlandse werf.

Airbus first serial H160 helicopter took to the skies



The first serial H160 to roll off the brand new assembly line in Marignane performed a flight demonstration on the 17 December in front of the H160 team in an end-of-the-year celebration of the programme's achievements in 2018, Airbus Helicopters said today.

The aircraft's unique livery is a testimony to the several hundred people working towards the platform's certification at the end of next year, the programme's industrial maturity, and its seamless entry into service as they have all signed the helicopter.

The first serial aircraft will join the three prototypes, which have already accumulated over a 1000 flight hours, in the final steps of the flight test campaign, namely confirming that the modifications that have been introduced through the serial configuration have no impact on the helicopter's excellent handling qualities.

Airbus' H160 helicopter has been selected by the French Armed Forces to replace 18 Fennec and 111 Gazelle choppers of the French Army, and 42 Fennec of the French Air Force. The Air Force's Super Puma VIP and Puma would be replaced by the H225M Caracal, while 74 NH90 are currently replacing the Army's Puma platforms.

The H160 is a 6 tons class helicopter capable of speeds of 160 knots. It can carry 12 passengers at distances of up to 120 nautical miles.

Latvia signs for Black Hawk helos

Latvia has signed a deal for four Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk transport helicopters that were approved earlier in the year, Jane's was told on 28 November.

Speaking at the Berlin Security Conference, Jãnis Garisons, State Secretary for the Latvian Ministry of Defence (MoD), said the deal was signed "about a month ago".

In August the US cleared the Baltic nation to acquire four UH-60s, along with equipment including Talon Forward Looking Infrared Radar (FLIR) systems, spares, support, and sustainment for USD200 million.

While Garisons did not provide a delivery timeline, he said that the Black Hawks should be in service in time to replace the air force's Mil Mi-17 'Hip' helicopters by 2021.

Als Japan inderdaad 100% maritiem wil, dan is het of AH-1Z of MH-60S. De UH-60M is niet 100% maritiem.

Eigenlijk zijn er dan maar 2 typen welke 100% voldoen, namelijk AH-1Z en de bewapende UH-60.
De Apache E zal nooit 100% voldoen.
