F-16 crashes at training range near Hill AFB

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — A pilot is being evaluated by medical personnel after ejecting from his fighter plane at the Utah Test and Training Range.
Air Force officials say the escaped pilot was the only person aboard the F-16 jet fighter that crashed about 8:35 a.m. Friday.
The jet was assigned to the 388th Fighter Wing. The pilot has not yet been identified.
Hill Air Force Base emergency crews are responding to the crash. Authorities say a board of officers will investigate
