I was in the U. S. Marine Corps in WW II and we flew the PBJ (B-25) Mitchell Med. Bombers.
When we were going to fly to Hawaii in February 1944 we left from Fairfield-Suissan airfield in California.
There were Royal Netherlands B-25s there also going to fly from there to some where I don't remember.
We had some good times while we were both there and did some partying and playing poker together.
My best buddy and I have often wondered how that bunch came out during the war.
If any one was there when we were, I would appreciate a note from them.
