70th Anniversary of 617 Sqn raid on the Ruhr dams

Flypast of the Lancaster over the Derwent reservoir where a lot of the pre raid training took place. A similar event took place in 2008 for the 65th anniversary when after flypasts by the Lancaster and GR4's of 617Sqn commemorating the day. Other aircraft from the BBMF also made low level passes in the form of their Dakota, Spitfire & Hurricane.
