DEFENTURE PRESENTS LATEST VEHICLES AND FULL PORTFOLIO DURING EUROSATORY 2024 AT STAND C95

From Monday 17 June to Friday 21 June 2024, the next edition of Eurosatory will take place in Paris. Defenture will once again participate in this biennial leading defence and security exhibition. At the Defenture stand, international visitors can view the complete Defenture portfolio with its latest solutions and system integrations. The global launch of Defenture's latest platform, the Mammoth, will also take place during the exhibition week.

Defenture presents total concepts
During exhibition week, the official global launch of Defenture's latest platform, the Mammoth, will take place. The Mammoth is Defenture's multi-role mobility platform in a weight class of up to 8.8 tonnes and is seen as a revolutionary development in military vehicle technology, deployable for a wide range of operational applications. Defenture also presents the first model of the Scorpion Military Diesel Quad and demonstrations will be given at the stand with a new system integration on the GRF.

Defenture's vehicles are presented in cooperation with partners as total concepts with various configurations. More information about the mobility solutions:

Mogelijk interessant voor het KMARNS met de lichtere plannen naast de nog lichtere 4x4's en over snow voertuigen. En natuurlijk ook voor 11 LMB als zwaar wapen platform.

Uitrusten met die 30mm M230, welke ze ook op de Vector geplaatst hebben.

Nieuwe terreinwagen voor de krijgsmacht

Op de NEDS-beurs droeg producent Iveco Defence Vehicles de Manticore officieel over aan COMMIT. Twee weken later deed COMMIT de eerste exemplaren symbolisch over aan aan het Opleidings- en Trainingscentrum Rijden (OTCRij) in Oirschot. De Manticore komt in elf variaties en vervangt Mercedes Benz-modellen bij de landmacht, de Landrovers bij de marine en de laatste YPR-pantserrupsvoertuigen bij de luchtmacht en de marechaussee. Ik vraag me wel af wat men gaat doen bij de KMAR met dozer capaciteit? Dit verliezen ze wel met de Manticore met aanvalsbrug.

We hebben nog een handje vol YPR bergings voertuigen in dienst, ik ga er vanuit dat deze ook wel vervangen (moeten) gaan worden. Ik zie mogelijkheden om extra CV90's aan te schaffen in bergings variant voor de KL / KMAR. Als er vanuit de KMAR geen behoefte (meer) is aan deze capaciteit kan het altijd geleend worden van de KL indien het nodig is.

Het is een grote, logge, zware, lelijke vierkante vrachtwagen.
Vergeleken met de MB en Landrover qua terreinvaardigheid en mobiliteit een achteruitgang. Maar snap wel waarom ervoor gekozen is.
