Wat zijn de verschillen in gewicht tussen de CV90 en de Lynx en het verschil in motorvermogen?

Defensie geeft voor de CV9035NL een onbeladen gewicht op van 31.750 kg en een vermogen van 810 pk.

Als eerste afnemer betaalt Hongarije inderdaad een hogere stuksprijs en het is een prijzig voertuig. Daar heb je gelijk in. Er is echter niet verteld wat er allemaal voor 2,4 miljard USD is inbegrepen. Er is geen specificatielijst met de afzonderlijke kosten. Het lijkt mij heel erg sterk dat het alleen uit de KF41 stuksprijzen bestaat.

Materialen en services? Leg eens uit. Want bij de CV90 zaten voor 4.2 miljoen euro, een model wat notabene speciaal voor NL werd gemaakt, ook 'materialen en service' bij.

Dat zijn 2 cv90's per lynx. En dan voor 2 jaar munitie voor die CV90's ernaast.

Het is absurd veel geld. Ik denk.. weet bijna zeker. Dat de hoge stuksprijs komt door A. Een van eerste afnemers, B. Het is een zeer duur voertuig, B. Ze willen ze zelf produceren.

The contractual agreement, which has now been signed in Budapest, encompasses 218 LYNX KF41 IFVs and nine BUFFALO Armoured Recovery Vehicles (ARVs). The contract includes additional products and services such as simulators, training and instruction plus an initial supply of spare parts as well as maintenance support.

Lynx KF41 production and test facility to be set up in Hungary

Hungary signed an agreement on 9 September worth over EUR2 billion (USD2.4 billion) with Rheinmetall for 218 Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) and to establish a new facility to develop, assemble, and manufacture them near Zalaegerszeg, western Hungary, and a separate test range. The contract was signed in Budapest by Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger and Ferenc Korom, commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces.

Hungarian Minister for Innovation and Technology László Palkovics said on 10 September that the total estimated cost of the production and test facility in the Zalazone industrial park is HUF60 billion (USD200 million).

The test phase of the new factory is scheduled to start in 2022, with full-scale production commencing in 2023. Rheinmetall will hold a majority stake in the joint venture. Hungary's contribution to the project will be the establishment of the production facility as well as a centre of excellence (COE) for the development, production, and maintenance of armoured vehicles.

The first 46 Lynx KF41s will be produced in Germany, with the participation of Hungarian personnel as part of their training. During the first phase of production, Hungary will also receive nine Büffel (Buffalo) armoured recovery vehicles built in Germany, with delivery to be completed by the beginning of 2023. The remaining 172 IFVs are to be manufactured in Hungary. The Lynx KF41 IFV ordered by Hungary will have a manned 30 mm Lance turret developed by Rheinmetall and produced by its Military Vehicle COE in Brisbane, Australia, for Australian Boxer armoured vehicles.

The Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) is a family of next generation, highly survivable vehicles essential to the future of the U.S. Army.
The AMPV  is the U.S. Army's program to replace the Vietnam War-era and legacy M113 Family of Vehicles.

The program is essential to the future of the Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) and will fulfill the Army's strategy of protection, mobility, reliability, and interoperability. The AMPV will be integrated with the ABCT and is required to operate alongside the M1 Abrams tank and the M2 Bradley.

The Army has identified the AMPV as its top priority for the safety and survivability of soldiers and therefore meets tough protection requirements. The AMPV leverages aspects of the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle and M109A7 self-propelled howitzer, furthering commonality in the ABCT fleet of vehicles.

The Army and BAE Systems are currently in low-rate production of the five AMPV variants. The variants include a general purpose vehicle for troop transport, along with mission command, mortar carrier, medical evacuation and medical treatment versions.

AMPV is a mature, low-risk and cost-effective solution that rapidly delivers continued combat overmatch capability for the Army.

Klopt. Rheinmetall is sowieso sterk. Ik gun het ze succes.
